The article seems rather disjointed and seems to combine news about royalty moving somewhere with some party Nicholas was at.

This bit, for certain, is about Nicholas though...

Then camp comic Kit Hesketh-Harvey sang a laudatory ditty to the music of Chopin's Minute Waltz, the theme tune of Just A Minute, the Radio 4 quiz that Nicholas has presented for the past 41 years without hesitation, repetition or deviation.

His elegant daughter Suzy recalled her teenage memories of the cricket- loving Parsons in a succinct speech: "I've lost count of the amount of time I spent propping up the bars of cricket clubs around England," she said.

"I still don't know the rules of the game but I do who still holds the world record for carrot chopping (he peeled and cut up 22 carrots in one minute).
