Just a minute got referenced on the Christmas episode of the Archers. It was mentioned that Phil on losing one of the party games had to speak for one minute on 'the sky at night' without hesitation, repetition, or deviation. It was done offstage, as the actor who played Phil,Norman Painting, sadly died a couple of months ago. He had been playing the part for 59 years. Almost 2 decades before Jam came along. It is nice that one of Phil's last acts will be associated with Jam. The character will pass away in the new year.

It does however, create a paradox. If the citizens of Ambridge listen to Just a minute, What do they think of this Charles Collingwood? Do they notice his voice is similar to that of Brian Archer? What do they think of Paul calling for deviation because Ambridge is a fictional village?

I've always wondered what the inhabitants of Weatherfield think of
Coronation Street, the TV show. Don't you reckon it would be the sort of
TV programme they would watch?
