sometimes it happens where it seems like it's actually someone's debut or its their second appearance and it turns out that isn't the case.  like in what was 'supposedly' Rob Brydon's second appearance, Nicholas kept on saying that he's only played the game twice before, and if that was Rob's second appearance, then he's only played it once before.  I think the opening subject was 'The Girl Next Door'.  so I kinda look at the episode 'Skinny Dipping' as Rob's real second appearance, so it makes more sense when Nick says that Rob's played it twice before when you listen to 'The girl next door'.

I remember that part, too. Paul and Tony verbally throwing insults at
each other regarding their clothes/hair (Tony's shirts from Colour
Blind R Us, Paul's hair by B&Q, etc.). Then Nicholas made the comment
that he made a slip of the tongue in "William Bly of the Mountie". At
the time I originally heard this episode (one of the first, I may add)
I had never heard the second Tony episode, and for the longest time I
had no idea what Nicholas's comment meant.

The editing was sloppy from time to time, that's for sure. I was also
left scratching my head when I first heard Paul's actual "debut" as a
panellist -- which actually was the second program he appeared in,
broadcast-wise. Things like that irritated me a little.
