I've been surprised at the amount of coverage that JAM has received in
the TV news bulletins, with NP on every channel. The BBC put a
half-hour obit programme on, complete with excerpts of a TV version of
JAM with Linda Smith.

That is very interesting as I've noticed JAM hasn't had a mention in the
print obits.

I guess it was a chance to see the "real" Wendy Richard as opposed to
playing a part - to see her being witty, aggressive, uninhibited.

I will have a look around for Nicholas. I'd like to see his comments

I am saddend to hear about Wendy's death- I have her book and found
it an interesting read. Of course I enjoyed her work on Are you being
served and EastEnders. ( unfortunely the local station that ran
EastEnders cancelled it before pauline fowler's death.)

Wendy was one of my favs on JAM-one of my favorite epiodes was with
her, clement. paul ,and Tony slattery making his debt. I always got a
kick out of when she objected to Clement's "lists". Wendy never
seemed to be afraid of any of the male panelist and didn't mind
speaking her mind either. She will be missed. Miriam
