Another individual that I found to be very memorable in spite of her brief stint on JAM is Blythe Duff.
She made two appearances I believe in 1998 with Paul Merton, Derek Nimmo and Tony Hawks when the show went to Glasgow, specifically to 'the University Union, the debating chamber in the Union of that magnificent university in the heart of that fantastic city of Glasgow'.
Those were excellent episodes and Blythe was fantastic, largely because she had a great penchant for keeping going for long stretches of time, and its a shame she never went for the full minute because each time you think she's going to do it, some damn fool had the audacity to interrupt her.
Her voice was very lovey, largely because I think the Scottish accent is excellent, especially when the accent belongs to a woman.
she was an absolute joy to listen to, with a great ear for anecdotes, and what was great was during her second appearance she started to get the hang of playing the game, I think she at least deserved two more appearances, maybe three more. it would've been awesome if they had her teamed up with Fred MacAuley, at least Blythe would've had some support from a fellow Scot.
Anyway, aside from her appearances on JAM, I have no clue what else she's done, but according to Dean's website, she's done a lot of acting on the stage in Scotland, but is mostly known in Britain for being part of the cast of the police series 'Taggart'. I've never seen that show, so I wouldn't know if its any good or not.
Anyhow, I'll open the floor for anyone else.
