I'm a new boy, so...here goes.

1. My favourite Just a Minute panellist is.... because....

Paul Merton, because even though he has his off moments, when he gets going, there's no one like him. I submit the "herbacious borders" episode as evidence.

2. If I could pick four people for my best ever Just a Minute panel,
they would be... because...

Peter Jones, Stephen Fry, Clement Freud, and Paul Merton. This lineup probably happened at some point during the run... it has the best of the old guard, and the best of the post-Kenneth players, I think. That, and all 4 of them are great at reacting to others' stuff (where as some players like Derek or Graham Norton go brilliantly by themselves but don't really interact with the monologues of others).

3. The person/s I would like to hear more of on Just a Minute is....
because...

Fred Macaulay, because of the "Stress" monologue, or Marcus B., because we haven't heard from him yet this series. Or Ross Noble, for the same reason.

4. The first time I heard Just a Minute, I thought...

This is hilarious, but I wish they'd get rid of that very slow old fella. (I say this to my shame, I found Clement terribly tedious when I first heard the show, two years later and most of my favorite moments involve him in some way).

5. I think if Kenneth Williams and Paul Merton had ever been on the show
together....

It wouldn't have worked. Paul would have challenged for something silly during one of Kenneth's dissertations, and Ken would get upset, and sulk, and the show would be uncomfortable.

6. The funniest moment ever on Just a Minute was...

There are so many, but I think my favorite at the moment has to be Paul and Clement's "Scotch Ovoid" discussion. Or possibly Noble's speech about "Diets".

7. The reason I love listening to Just a Minute is...

It's very funny people being very funny, and it's the type of show you never get in this country (the U.S.)

8. If you've been to a Just a Minute recording, tell us about it!
...sadly not...
9. If you've ever played Just a Minute yourself, tell us about it!
...again, no...

10. If I could meet a Just a Minute star and ask them one question, I
would want to meet..... and the question would be....

Either Nick to ask him if he really is as dunderheaded as he appears sometimes, or Peter to just sit and talk with him for a while, he just seems like the most interesting person to talk to...

11. The Just a Minute star I most look like/act like is...

Late '90s Paul Merton/I've been told I have a Ross Noble-esque sense of humor, and I'll take that as a compliment.

12. If I had to speak for 60 seconds on a subject without hesitation,
repetition or deviation, it would be...

Neil Finn, to encourage more people to listen to any of his music! (Not very funny, but the more Frenz in the world, the better, I'd say :))

13. Three key facts I'd like everyone on the group to know about me
are...

I'm a pretty boring guy, so let's not go into it.

T,

Welcome

Nice to see another American JAM fan here! (And another Paul Merton fan too)

And no we don't have anything like it here- the only "panel"shows we have is Wait Wait don't tell me ( usa News Quiz) and Says You on NPR which is more a Word/triva panel show but I would love to hear the Says You panel try a round of JAM- I have seen Says You recorded 3 times)
