"Then maybe we should start on Sarah Sharpe - (seriously... why can't she blow that damn whistle properly?)"

________________________________________________________________________

My gripe is with the sound person-sometimes the whisle is so faint we can't hear it or so Loud that it nearly deafens me-this is epecially true when I am listening to the show with headphones on ( which is most of the time)
Some of the panelists don't talk into the mikes well enough and I have to strain to hear them and then TWEEEEEEEEEEEEETTT!

My friend and I were talking about this the other day as both of us like to listen on the bus and at work ( with headphones) Miriam

I like the idea oif listening to JAM on the bus. I bet you get some looks when you start giggling!

Anyone else care to share their favourite place to listen?

I find it very good on long car journeys...

It is good on either long or short car journeys, but I agree with Miriam about sound levels. I've hit the brake a few times when that whistle comes in really loud. Of course I should know what it is, but it can be surprising. I also find JAM a good choice for listening at the gym, on treadmills and such.

I listen while walking my dog around the neighborhood. Sometimes I worry that people I pass think I'm laughing at them.

I find listening to JAM while on long plane rides to be very good. With each episode being 30 mins, I know that for say, a six hr flight, I have to listen to 12 episodes to pass the time, and that seems far more bearable than occupying myself for that long. However, it DOES become embarrassing when you burst out laughing amongst strangers.

without a doubt, Just a Minute is definitely the show to listen to on long trips.  either in the car or even on your iPod or MP3 player.  i listen to it quite a bit in my own car, and Itravel quite a bit for the purposes of work, so the time passes by rather nicely with some comedy.

I listen quite often at work-I work in a kitchen and sometimes have lots of chopping to do and JAM is great to keep one from being bored.
My co-workers are now used to hearing me giggle or down right start laughing while listening. I am sure they are all sick of hearing me going on & on about paul merton epecially. They know I am a Nutty Anglophile :) Miriam
