kj we are only halfway through series 6 - QI just finished about 20 minutes ago tonight and it was 'episode 8 - Fashion'.

After I found out about QI I started downloading the new series 7 when it started before Xmas last year. Thanks to some wonderful people in Britain it becomes available on the internet to download soon after it is shown there. I always wait for the XL version because, as you say, it is worth it.

Thank you very much for the recommendation of the Masterson Inheritance - it looks very promising. Luckily I found all 3 series & I've just started downloading the first series. I'll have a listen tomorrow.

People outside the UK can listen to radio programmes on BBC such as Just a Minute, but not watch iplayer or programmes from any of the tv websites - they are all restricted unfortunately. Therefore we must become pirates...it's a good thing that Australia was settled by convicts which must be why I am so comfortable doing that...

To get a flavour of what it's about see Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Masterson_Inheritance. It may be hard to get MP3s of this as it's quite old but I think BBC7 have just finished re-running it.

It's available on Five's website at http://demand.five.tv/Series.aspx?seriesBaseName=PaulMertonInEurope although I couldn't say whether there any geographical restrictions on where one can view it from.
