'Give him a bonus point, he loves his bonus points'

One thing I noticed from 2005 all the way up to Clement's death, was Nicholas' very odd behavior in the way he doled out bonus points to Clement.

In every occasion that Clement was making a humorous comment or was doing something that seemed to garner bonus points for the other panelists, or perhaps it seemed like Clement had caught on to the fact that Nicholas seemed to be giving out bonus points for just about anything and everything under the sun, Nicholas would often say 'Oh give him a bonus point, he loves his bonus points'.

The way he would say things like that was extremely patronizing and condescending, like he was giving Clement candy or strained prunes or applesauce. basically treating Clement like some doddering and decrepid old codger in a nursing home. What makes it all the more ridiculous is the fact that this isn't the first time Nicholas has acted like he's somehow the fresher minded youngun when compared to the seasoned veterans, especially when you consider that before each of the Original Foursome passed on, Nicholas was (and still is) in the same age range as them.

I also seem to recall that Clement and Nicholas went to school together, I wonder if this behavior was spurned by some deep seated resentment against Sir Clement.
