Oh my god! Talk about a Herculean task! I'd be making lists, crossing
them out again, waking up next day and tearing the paper up and
starting again .... so much to take into account. I recently passed
an episode on to a novice JAM listener (an American) and made the
mistakes that a) she didn't get some of the cultural references and
b) some of the jokes just aren't as funny if you don't know the
characters involved and/or have a grounding in previous JAM episodes.

Anyway, I'm glad to agree with many of your choices and - WOW - THERE
at last is what I always knew, there MUST be a second episode with
Eddie Izzard as a guest..... now to get hold of it!

I certainly would have included #605, #424, #275 (I think I mentioned
before as well as one of the Tommy trinder episodes)and #622 .... but
so much depends on the intended audience..... but surely there must
be #590 "Ballroom Dancing"? And the episode with Clement and Graham
where Graham talks about achieving a point of ecstacy reading the
childrens book authored by Clement when he was a boy ...... oh,
sorry, I fell into the inevitable trap. I'd better shut up here I
think.
