Re: Rule Changes for JAM?

A change of the rules? WHY?
Being one of the "million listeners abroad", I admire N. Parsons for making this show with this minimalistic set of rules. I think he got a little bit mellow over the last years, stressing the point that "all are winners" etc. But the show needs players willing to compete (think of Sir Clement!)

OTOH, the low points of the current series may have been the two recordings with Tony Hawks, Josie Lawrence, Dave Gorman and Justin Moorhouse - here, the players were overly jealous.

But even the "low points" were very entertaining!

As for Sue Perkins: While I love JAM, my sister is not such big a fan - she thinks that the women at the show are discriminated against, especially when it comes to "the benefit of a doubt". Sue is a wonderful player, but sometimes, she seems to get a little bit frustrated.

That was my first rant on this forum. Therefore, I just want to add: Thank you all for your dedication, especially for uploading all the episodes. I know, it may be anathema, but I'm a post-Kenneth-Williams listener: I just like the "newer" episodes better.

Thanks again
