I discovered JAM on BBC World Service some years ago (2002/2003? Not
sure). I listen to World Service every time I go to bed and back then
they had more comedy and drama in the evenings (I kinda miss that). I
heard JAM a few times and while I liked it it wasn't until I heard
Graham Norton appear as guest that I got hooked.
Nowadays I enjoy all seasons from 1990 and onward.
