I posted a link recently to a site that purported to have a photo of Samantha and her hunky stand-in Sven having fun...

... and after getting an email from someone who was taken in by it and who complained there was no photo, it cheers me to know that the joy of this show still works. I wonder if this guy knows the rules to Mornington Crescent???

P.S. An as for Mornington Crescent, the biggest part of the joke was surreptitiously given away The Seekers in 1968.  The clues are all there if you remember that the game involves railway stations.  Now go and listen to 'Morningtown Ride' by the tuneful four...

Underneath their blankets go all the girls and boys.
Rocking, rolling, riding, out along the bay,
All bound for Morningtown, many miles away.
Driver at the engine, fireman rings the bell,

Really: it's so obvious when you put it together.  No wonder the crew have such a good time playing the game.

Mark... That is a brilliant reply, and deserves the award for post of the month. But can one play Durham (as in Judith, lead singer of The Seekers) in the Northern version of Mornington Crescent for a Nip point?
