This issue has been raised before in different forms, but it remains interesting to talk about nonetheless. Sue Perkins is definitely a top regular female panelist, along with Jenny Eclair, only because they are the ones who have appeared more frequently over the years. (although i believe Jenny might have more appearances under her belt than Sue because Jenny first began appearing on the program back in 95 while Sue started appearing only 5 years later) so far no attempt has been made by the producers to feature more than two females at any given time on the show. It was only when the show was on TV back in 1999 that had four shows, out of however many were made, with a 3 female to 1 male panel. Its the closest we`ve ever gotten to an all female panel and i think its a real shame this hasnt been tried out on radio.

It can't simply be that there aren't as many women who would be good at JaM, can it?
