Just A Minute

I`m going to introduce a new aspect in order to talk about those panelists that fall inbetween `Brief But Memorable` and 'People Who Should`ve Never Been On the Show`. 

 

The first to be examined is: Janey Godley. im kinda torn about how i feel about her to be honest.  I find her scottish accent to be enchanting, and she certainly does have a lot to say on any given subject.  However, i do find some of her side comments to be rather... quaint.  Like in one show, where the other panelists were Tony Hawks, Gyles Brandreth, and Kit Hesketh-Harvey. i forget what the subject was, but she said something relating to Kit about `seeing how long his lungs could go`. And she said it with a voice filled with wide-eyed amazement that just seemed.... quaint.  In listening to her talk, sometimes it was almost like listening to a child being amazed at the strange things that happen in the world and the strange things grown ups can do.  I mean her first appearance was absolutely
enchanting and i loved how well she stood up for herself against Clement's insults over the need for subtitles during her speaking. 

 

However, I also found some of her later comments in the episode itself, her confusion over whether they were talking about 'orbs' or 'Roy Orbison', she just seemed befuddled, and not in an enchanting manner. 

 

however, there is something about Janey Godley that I still find intriguing in spite of all this, and I'm not sur what that is quite frankly.
