Jacqueline had one of the more interesting lifes of any JAM panellist - you can read about her here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackie_Forster

On Eleanor Summerfield, I guess the fact that she did a show in 1968, then wasn't asked back for 19 years and was then never asked again suggests she didn't shine. But many here will remember her as a funny and charming panellist for many many years on Many A Slip.

Especially when the episodes she appeared in were absolutely marvelous and were the purest examples of comedy gold anyone could hope to find, as everything just clicked together with nonstop hilarity. She may have had a rough time keeping going but what she did contribute just made me want to hear more. I remember in her second and final appearance she contributed rather nicely, in my view, to an overall running gag that involved mentioning members of the aristocracy on various subjects, making ascertions that such an individual didnt actually exist, only for someone to come up with the claim that they were talking about a pub.

Having read the wiki entry i was amazed To learn that Ms. Mackenzie was a lesbian. She was certainly out of the closet by the time she appeared on the show. Her appearance on the program alone is a milestone given she was the first open lesbian on the panel before Sue Perkins. Amazing.
