Topic: People Who Should Never Have Been on JAM - Eleanor Summerfield

Someone that definitely shouldnt have been on the program in the first place is Eleanor Summerfield. In all i found her two appearances to be quite unremarkable. There isnt a reccording available so far, but her second and last appearance came about in the late 80`s when Ed Taylor was producing. She seemed nice but for the life of me i cant remember her contributing anything worthwhile to the program. The episode itself was also quite unremarkable. Eleanor Summerfield just again seems like one of these unfortunate women who were brought on and found they couldnt hold their end up against the seasoned big mouths.

I always thought Christopher Timothy was a complete disaster. Obviously invited on due to the success of 'It shouldn't Happen To A Vet' series, how he got a second chance is beyond me. I don't even remember Eleanor Summerfield so I'm sure you're right in your comments there.

I agree about Christopher Timothy. He seemed like a nice enough guy, however he sounded like a subdued version of Lance Percival. The only thing i seem to recall him doing that was at all memorable was when he began doing a series of impersonations: first of John Wayne and then of Michael Crawford and then made the claim that they were ctually two other people entirely and it got a nice reaction from the audience. I think another thing he did was this rather amusing joke during the subject LUCKY NUMBERS and it actually involved an unlucky number of 13 and he got buzzed for deviation. Other than that, he seemed a bit too intimidated to allow his personality to truly flourish.
