Stanley Unwin is certainly no stranger to British entertainment in that the good professor has popped up in some manner or another over the years with his particular bramd of nonsensicle Unwinese. Im actually quite surprised that it took JAM so long to even consider having The man on the show. He made only two appearances in the late 1980`s: one alongside Kenneth Williams and one just after Kenneth died. Kenneth was certainly heavily influenced by Stanley in that numerous times Kenneth would spring into speaking so quickly a huge monologue of utter gobbledygook which was pure Unwinese type goodness. Although on his first appearance he did have some trouble getting the hang of the game, i think by his second and last appearance he was a lot more comfortable with playing the game. I personally think he should`ve been on the show during the 70`s as it would`ve far more enjoyable and it would`ve eliminated some of less enjoyable guest appearances from
people like janet brown.
