Just A Minute

Gerry Kelly is another individual i have mixed feelings about regarding his time on the program.  While it is always nice to have someone from Ireland on JAM, and while the two episodes he appeared in were fantastic, and while Gerry was good at picking up some of the transgressions, the poor fella had a hard time just keeping going.  I remember on one of the shows he challenged Clem i think on deviation for not knowing what the GLENS OF ANTRAM were and the moment he begins to speak on the subject he goes to pieces.  Its clear Gerry is something of an icon in Ireland iven how often the audience clapped and cheered whenever he spoke and challenged correctly, and displayed their disappointment when anyone dared to interrupt him.  Those were certainly some memorable moments, but the fact that he could barely go a few seconds without screwing up limited the scope of his contributions.  Although he did give off a friendly enough vibe of someone i would love to
hear more from, which is probably what makes him good as a presenter and chat show host.  Still, both shows he appeared in were pretty memorable and very entertaining, as they were rare moments when the show was recorded outside of England, cuz although they do record some shows in Scotland when not in Edinburgh, going to Ireland is a rare treat indeed.
