Honestly, I didn't like her on the show, and the whole episode was just a chore to listen to.  She just came across like a moron, not exactly doing much to represent female equality in her failure to be strong and assertive.  she asked a bunch of pointlessly dumb questions when she's challenged, and when she does challenge someone else, she doesn't know what she challenged for and has to be prompted into making correct challenges.

After hearing such grand examples of strong, able minded women appear on the program over the years, Lynn Ferguson's presence on the show just seemed to set women suffrage back 20 years. And of course it didn't help that again Nicholas was shamelessly flirting with the hopeless creature, which makes the whole firago just unamusing, humorless and not all that entertaining.
