Just A Minute

Liz Fraser certainly falls into this category, but although she made three appearances in all, i feel her debut appearance is THE most memorable.  She appeared on an unofficial holiday edition and contributed exceptionally well throughout the program, even demonstrating her wonderful singing voice on the subject of `Carol Singing`.  Also an interesting running gag came about when she was given the subject of `Party Games` which involved Clement Freud challenging twice for hesitation before she even had a chance to start speaking and before finally getting her on a legitimate hesitation the third time, because it was erroneously assumed by Kenneth and the chairman that Clement was trying to prevent Liz from revealing something potentially embarassing that he had said or done at a Christmas party Clement held which Liz had attended. 

 

But there is one thing that has me thoroughly baffled and its this:  during the subject of `Things I`ve Found in Crackers` she spent the whole minute talking about how she met her husband.  She mentioned that among the things they had in common was an appreciative or love of "Nicholas Parsons` Milk".  Now i dont know about you, but i find that to be a very disgusting and disturbing image.  Which begs the question: just what in the blue blazes was the woman talking about?
