What I could use is help in Which site to buy my train ticket-I have 2 bookmarked- any advice on which one is better? or somewhere else?

I have the info into which station in manchester and told of the Tram into Salford. I was thinking of coming into manchester a couple hrs early- any suggestions of what to see without having to go too far from the train station?

looking into the journey options from London to Manchester as soon as you can. The train is (much) cheaper if you buy in advance and the sooner you buy, the cheaper it is. From the conversation of a few weeks ago, I know there will be people who will help you navigate the sometime byzantine UK railway system and the multitude of options available to you. If you get stuck, just ask. I'm happy to help, but I must caution that I'm not an expert.
