"oh boy, you'll be drunk before the programs over."

Isn't that kind of the point of a drinking game?

first of all wednessday i hope you don;t think i am being over pedantic in pointing this out but is'nt it great portland street that kenneth williams mentions commming all the way from not poland street .  i must pop over to deans site and check it out .  i am known for opening my mouth and putting my foot stright in :-)
Well, for accuracy's sake, he first started off saying that he came all the way from King's Cross, then moved to Great Portland Street later on, in fact there was an episode where this was even commented on by the others.
any way despite all that your idea for a drinking games sounds excellent .

let me think .

you could take a drink when nicholas parsons gives the benefit of the doubt  to player.
oh boy, you'll be drunk before the programs over.
when a player makes a challenge just to make a smart comment and there is no hesitation repetition or deviation ( i hope i spelt that word right i am dyslexic and my typing at times can be really bad !) .

what about when a player points out thier own mistake . chris neil seems to do this a lot for example .

when someone makes a verbal stumble .

as to isihac i think there have been a few people that have been good on jam that have been good on  that .  i don;t have my itsac cd's to hand so off the top of my head i can think of tony hawks ,  linda smith , stephen fry , there might be one or 2 more too . thats only since the death of willie rushton though as has been previously pointed out .   i need to go through my cd's again ! i have to say though in my opinion jam is better !
well, both shows do go kinda hand in hand, because for a while I did listen to ISIHAC, only cuz I needed something to curb my own antagonist animosity towards Nicholas Parsons, and it is or rather was a much desired antidote to panel games in general.  things became a bit to repetitious, and not quite as funny as it was before Willie Rushton died.

cheers
Linda
