Just A Minute

I don't think one can necessarily take the pathological self-loathing which his diaries existed to express on face value as regards his JAM tirades. I think it's pretty clear that it was 90% an act put on for entertainment. And if they stuck me for that many years with the terminally untalented yet perpetually auditioning Nicholas Parsons, I think I could be excused the odd venting of rage.
