Audibles .aa format is a file format with embedded copy protection management. A general, failsafe way of "removing" any such protections (audio as well as video) is simply to direct the output from a player to file instead of hardware.

But there's software that converts your Audible files. A search on wikipedia returned a handful suggestions I bet all are easy to use: TuneBite, SoundTaxi, Daniusoft Media Converter Ultimate, NoteCable (sound recording) and Phantom Burner, NoteBurner, Tune4Mac (virtual CD burning).

I was working on it, but I got stuck in making my Audible .aa files into MP3s. If anyone has any hints or links to a good tutorial, I'd appreciate that.
