No one seems to have posted this yet, arrived in my in-box late last night, an invitation to apply for tickets for the next recordings in London.

They took my Canadian information without complaining... we'll see if it turns out or not.

Why, yes, London in February does sound like an exciting mid-winter break....

Hmmm there's sound here when trying now... But maybe there is something wrong with one of the files or something, that makes an episode all silent? Or has it been silent for a longer period of time?

I added the station to my IPhone yesterday and all I got was dead air (although the show title still showed up.) this carried on most of the night. I just checked again and it's working fine now at just after 10am GMT.

Thanks for offering the station Espen. It's a great station to relax and have a chuckle to.

Thanks for your kind words. It's an honor to host the JAM station for such a group of members as this (I consider it to be "ours", not "mine" :)).

And thanks for telling me about these problems, it's important that I receive a message when something is wrong, we do want to spread the JAM to the world continiously.
However this stream is very "ad-hoc" on one of many servers I got running (picture a "nightmare geek home" and you got me), and I have no good error reporting system running on it (in short, the shoutcast server software is *very* simple and thus with limited options).

But if it has been silent since yesterday then there must have been something serious. Isn't it just too typical that it's ok again now that I am made aware of it...

By the way, I'll add the latest season one of these days. I've made a policy out of waiting with publishing the latest episodes until after it's aired and done on BBC, out of respect for their broadcast.

Hi Ivan (and y'all):

There are several ways of accessing the JAM station.
One can use the web-player found here:
    http://www.beatradar.com/
(The second player, close to the bottom of the list)

One can also find the station and play it via the Shoutcast directory. Go there and search for "just a minute":
http://www.shoutcast.com

Or, the most common way I guess (and also the hardest to explain), open the station using your favorite media player. Usually opening this address is all there is to it:
http://stream.beatradar.com:8007/listen.pls

However some players (at least microsoft media player) require this address to work:
http://stream.beatradar.com:8007

If any of you got any problems getting it to work then tell me what software you are using and I'll try dig up a good, step-by-step description for you.

Just Thanks! Thank you so much for providing this. i was impressed to read about the effort a while back when you set it up but at that time I did not have internet access of an appropriate sort properly to enjoy it. Now I do, and have listened for quite a few hours. Sensational! Thanks loads.
