Radio Downloader is by far the easiest way to download BBC Radio programmes
I have found. You set up a list of programmes you wish to subscrbe to and
then just sit back and wait for them to be broadcast. Once they are
broadcast and added to the BBC iPlayer they are automatically downloaded to
your PC.

Broadcasts are usually downloaded within an hour or two and can be listened
to straight from the Downloaded Radio folder without being edited in any
way, When I am on top of things I usually have a short editing day where I
just catch up on top and tailing the shows in Audacity, but over Christmas I
seem to have gottne behind and have somewhere in the region of 50 shows to
edit (Bad Me)

I think it downloads programmes by pretending to be iPlayer.
