Sir Terry currently presents a Sunday morning show on Radio 2Sir Terry Wogan is to become a panellist on long-running BBC Radio 4 game show Just a Minute.
The former Radio 2 breakfast host will appear in two editions of the new series, due to be aired next month.
Other guests on the show, hosted by Nicholas Parsons, include Paul Merton, Sheila Hancock and Marcus Brigstocke.
The programme, which began in 1967, sees guests aiming to speak on a subject for one minute without hesitation, deviation or repetition.
Legendary panellists in the past have included the late Kenneth Williams, Sir Clement Freud and actor Derek Nimmo.
Stephen Fry, Gyles Brandreth and Julian Clary are among the regular guests on the programme.
As soon as I saw the header of the mail I wondered if I had missed something about why there was a new Chairman.
But regular? Not sure either fit my expectation level.
As for potential chairman ... no, it isn't Paul but he would so it if required in the style of Kenneth Williams.
Giles - Great showman. Good candidate, but would need to learn to down play.
Tony Hawks - smart enough. Subtitle his biting humour for a less sharp one.
Stephen Fry - but isn't he on the list for most shows? ;)
Graham Norton - could do it buy it would change the tone a bit.
Tim Rice ... short - med term
