Topic: Nicholas & Paul on BBC TV

In the show "Me & Arthur Haynes" on BBC-4 TV last night, Paul Merton interviewed Nicholas about his ten years as Haynes' stooge, playing clips from various TV shows. There were also clips from other shows Nicholas appeared on over the years. Nicholas looked fit & well although he complained several times his chair was uncomfortable. Paul joked it was Sweeney Todd's & looked for a trapdoor.

Interestingly, JAM was mentioned right at the start of the show, and Nicholas commented after Paul introduced him that it was the first time they'd ever shaken hands. Nicholas complimented Paul on his knowledge of, and love for, old comedy & comedians.

No doubt it will be repeated and may appear on You-Tube if somebody uploads it.
