Yes, thanks to Mark H, Espen and Paul, and to Dean. Amazingly just 2 1/2 weeks ago I had to take my cassette tape apart as it was all bunched up in the cassette. I then cut it along a taped join in order to put the two halves into two fresh cassette cases. When you listen to the MP3 please think of me struggling with the tape as half came off its spool and was draped from my kitchen through the living room and up the stairs onto my landing in an effort to untangle it, untwist it, and get it back on a spool without getting my fingers all over it.

Dean is formatting my transcript and that should be available soon. You can then read the missing few seconds in context of the full show.

I felt the show was so good as a teenager back in 1978 that I wrote the transcript back then.

Enjoy!

Dave

At Espen's request for others to upload the file, I have done just that.
I'll pop over to the groups webpage and put my link in for future reference.

For those wanting to download now here is the link:

Many Thanks to all involved in releasing this long lost treasure.

All The Best

As I have to travel related to work most of next week and assume there
are many who are eager to hear this "lost episode" I've placed this
amongst the rest of the 70s recordings, here:

http://stream.beatradar.com/jam/

The file is found in the directory "The 1970s" and is named:
JAM - 1978.05.23 - Getting Wound Up.mp3

Right click and select "save link as".

It would be nice if those of you with mediafire accounts could add this
to your collections, as my server here really was intended to be very
temporary and I have not yet fully given up that intention. :D

Regarding the sound: This mp3 contains the nontweaked recording, I've
not altered anything yet. And quite frankly, I think the sound quality
of this recording is so good that it don't need any repairs other than
in very short segments. There's plenty of other jam recordings in our
collection that is in much more need of first aid.

I have started tweaking it but doubt I'll do much more than just lower
the midtones and raise the low and high slightly to shake off some of
the 70s radio "trumpet sound". However my work schedule these days are
killing me so I'll wait with this 'till I can focus and hopefully do a
semi-good job. :)

Enjoy!
