I planned to, but completely failed to set my alarm earlier. Dammit.

I'm afraid the pesimists were right.

Tuesday's episode on ABC RN skipped to #007 - My Honeymoon

Other evidence indicates that the episodes missing from the early series are not part of the Transcription Service recordings and hence will not be broadcast by ABC RN as their episodes are from TS.

We'll just have to wait for the next unearthing of an original recording as was the case with #259 = Getting wound up.

The episode HAS been recorded but I'm away from home at present. I'll edit and upload it on the weekend.

I cannot help wondering if ABC will turn up a perfect copy of 259.

Our luck would be that it is an ABC reduced version, you know one with a subject cut out. Chances are it will miss the missing 7 seconds of the unearthed recording.

What are the chances that ABC will play full length versions as opposed to the edited versions? If they do it could be a rich seam, though I have no idea what is what in my collection. Espen will be able to advise about what is needed as a whole I am sure.

I’m pessimstic about more missing shows turning up with one exception – the 1974 Christmas show. It’s just possible that some ABC producer put this aside for next Christmas, and then forgot...

Anyway didn’t someone post that they are only playing shows for a year? So they won’t reach 259 anyway if so...

Hehe - that's a classic Linux syntax if I ever saw one :)

But something completely different: The Jammer webstream. A major update of all the servers are upcoming (Ubuntu 11.04 is here), so it may periodically be down during the next couple of days, unless all goes as smooth as silk.

I've also started a Jammer stream on a different server here that may be better suited. If you by any chance plan on listening in on it the coming days I'd be thankful if you tried the other one and see if you notice any differences worth mentioning.
