Yank here too but I knew some about mr Cribbens- watched enough brit tv and movies of the 60's ( like the Carry ons)

I bought a cd of his songs last trip to london. The seattle area had a locally radio show called the British Hr (much missed) that aired on a small local station- the hostess would have Themed shows and I remember her playing Right Said Fred.
I was happy when his career got a bit of a Lift from his appearances on Doctor Who.
