He was terrible at the game (couldn't speak for 15 seconds without hesitation) and said relatively little, BUT his interventions were typically wonderful - often the highlight of the show. He converted himself from an actor and writer to a comedian to my eyes. One of the top 3 players ever IMO.
Best regardsJulian Bishop I julianxbishop@... I +44 7771 822106http://www.facebook.com/julianxbishop@julianxbishopThe panellists below all had their day. Peter Jones was best in the late 70s, whilst Derek and Clement were better towards the end of their stint, when their Nick baiting had subsided and when they bounced off Paul, to everyone's benefit. Well Linda was great throughout her short stint. If anyone is interested a new series of Fry's English Delight began today on Radio 4 (Monday 9am UK time). Also on Channel 4 On Demand website, Julian has a 1980s TV show, a sit com, which I have watched (partly) for the first time recently. Paul Merton co wrote it and appears "acting" in some episodes...Terry and Julian. Its interesting to look for Paul's writing contribution.Dave
