Isn't it a radio debate, and if it's not a debate, what is it?

As I have suggested before, it is a vehicle for comedians' skills so the point is, IMHO* obviously,  to get the most laughs**.
It's listed as "BBC Radio Comedy" after all. Same with all similar shows on both TV and radio: ISIHAC, HIGNFY, Buzzcocks etc

That's why I find in-depth discussions on here about non-strict-adherence to the rules a little tiresome and missing the point completely.

OK, there, I've said it, I'll get back to my bridge now...
He he!

* for the newsgroup uninitiated that is "In My Humble Opinion"

** Despite her being a 'good' comedienne - I usually switch off (metaphorically, obviously) when it's Sue's turn on JAM.

I thought that this comment was interesting:

Peter Jones was terrible at the game

What does everybody think is the purpose of the game? To get the most points or to get the most laughs? I think that technically Sue Perkins is one of the best players ever...but she does not always make me laugh the most.

Just a thought.

Love as always, David
