Hi folks. I just thought that serious students of any topic need an
intellectual challenge as well as a way to earn bragging rights. And
students of JAM are no different. What we need is an accredited course of
JAM study or at least a final exam to test the mettle of a candidate.
So,
dear list member, when you're not in parliament, or delivering sentence in the
Supreme Court, or chewing your toenails, you could start compiling challenging
JAM questions to test our knowledge of that last 44 years of JAM.
If
nothing else, it could be a treasure hunt for odd JAM delights.
Here's a
start.
Q1. In which episode was the topic on the card first allowed to be
repeated more than once?
Q2. According to Paul, what mammal was found
hopelessly lost on a double-decker London bus?
Q3a. Who, when given the
topic of "Parasites" said: "There is a
huge family of parasites, so big it requires many palaces and castles to
accommodate all of them."? Coincidentally (or not), it was this player's last
appearance on JAM.
Q3b. Who on the panel objected to this
statement?
Q4. Whom, when informed of her death at the age of 26, did
Kenneth Williams call "Poor bitch"?
Q5. To which island did Kenneth
Williams say he was being taken in his last ever round of JAM?
Q6. Why is
there debate over which was Paul Merton's first JAM episode?
