Not really. People associate JAM with Clement Freud more, and he is recently deceased, which is another reason people will vote for him.
Vote for him because he is deceased? I don't understand that either. Plus, Paul are no nobody when it comes to JAM either... he's an as essential part of current day JAM as Williams was back in the days (in my humble opinion of course)!
It's not that I criticize those who voted for Clement, of course not, there's no "right" or "wrong" here. It's just... Clement? That grumpy, high horse elitist old man? I just don't understand it. Not against Merton!
