Funny thing is, I associate Graham first and foremost with his earliest talkshows - they were too good for words. So every time I hear him in JAM I see this crystal clear picture of him before me. The other voices are much more anonymous - a majority of them I do not even know how look at all.
First time I saw a picture of Paul I got shocked, I had pictured a *completely* different look.

But back on topic, after all these JAM episodes I *still* picture Graham on the TV screen each time I hear him talk. So yeah, once an artist establish an image (in all meanings of that word) it's really hard to change it.

Notwithstanding they wouldn't be very good at it (comparatively), at first anyway.

I was just wondering if folks connect certain comedians with certain shows?

I was listing to an old ISIHAC the other day and Paul Merton was on. He was very good, but at first I thought "Oh that's strange". I usually associate him with JAM. For me Linda Smith will always be associated with The News Quiz. In my mind it was the perfect outlet for her. I always think of "The 99p Challenge" when I hear Sue Perkins' voice. Etc Etc.

Is this just me?
