I was listening to Espen's JAM radio yesterday and heard a JAM 40th
Anniversary programme; not an episode of JAM but Nicholas talking about the
first forty years and introducing commentary from contemporary contestants and
lots of special moments from the show, some of which I'd not heard before. One
clip, which had me falling off my chair, was of the panel rebelling as a pack
and calling for the the chairman's head ("Resign! Resign!").
Does anyone
know what episode this was? I'd love to hear the whole show and what sparked the
rebellion. I'm guessing it was an earlier show because Derek Nimmo was
definitely involved and I think Kenneth.
And, if anyone knows where I can
download the 40th Anniversary programme (without having to bother Espen) it
would be appreciated.

Subject: [just-a-minute] Re: Resign! Resign!Ah, thanks Dean, it's from that famous Parbuckles round. I have that Classic Minute Vol. 7 CD but my iPod splits the shows from the CD up into individual rounds. It was good to hear the entire show from start to finish again. Actually, if anyone here is new to Just a Minute they should listen to that episode from 1979; the original line-up were really on top form.
Thanks also for pointing me towards the 2007 40th anniversary special; a gap in my collection that's now been filled.

It is definitely one of the funniest episodes, alongside "The Best Game"
followed by "What to do with the hole in the doughnut" in my
opinion.
Both of which are on the silver minutes collection (on continual
playing on my mp3)
Special time indeed! :D
