Hi

The BBC documentary of the week podcast is Paul Merton on the Leeds Variety Music Hall

Als recommend subscribing to Friday Night Comedy - you get the news or now quiz usually, though the recent series where one person was interviewed one week and interviewed someone else the next was great (especially for new order fans).

comedy of the week is a bit hit or miss - as you would expect

Finally, does anyone else feel deflated by the most recent series? Pam Ayers was herself (again), Gyles bluster as ever, and I've never really warmed to Tony Hawks. Rick Wakeman and Phil Jupitus were like a hint of the past where people tried to talk n the topic - I remember someone in the last series doing that and being slated for being 'boring'. It seemed tired and flat (from a listener for at least 40 years)

Thanks for the heads up- this will work well for this Paul merton fan as now I have something to pair ( via burning disk) the Triva Test match with paul that I recorded last week from radio 4 X.
Besides I am Music Hall fans as well- I use to go to the Players Theater in London every time I visited- sadly they moved/had internal problems and only do shows every few months Miriam
