And Jeremy Hardy deserves another go.
Just because he called the royal family 'parasites' and offended Clement (and half of Britain) is no reason to continue boycotting him!

Andy Hamilton - I agree, but seems a good commentator and writer and not so much a comic performer.
I would like to see Hugh Laurie given another go. That's two of us.
I have tried to picture what a JAM with Ramona Marquez would be like.........With the above two guiding/influencing her career she has developed an attitude. Winner of the Best Female Comedy Newcomer 2009 of the British Comedy Awards. A hit show co-written by Andy Hamilton, with bags of improvisation. And Ramona is ten years old.

Mark Steel - too political, may try to make a point rather than entertain.
Carol Thatcher may be up for it - but would be pilloried by Paul.
Ronnie Corbett - never seem him do anything without a script, but bang up to date with his Blackberry not working sketch (which should be on youtube if you've not seen it)
Jonathan Ross - too dangerous
Clive Anderson - he would try and play the game
Jo Brand - her male look-alike, John Sergeant, faired badly, but would she?
Dara O'Briain - a distasteful debut maybe blotted his copybook (the pirate incident!)
Sean Lock - is Sean funny or articulate?
Lucy Porter - would no doubt raise Nicolas' interest, a la Shappi.

Bring back Tim Rice
And Tony Slattery.

I have never been into North American input into the show.

There used to be a good showing of boffins on the show. I drove down to Cornwall a few years ago and listened to the edition with dashing TV historian Michael Wood, 2 decades after the show was broadcast. Amazingly when I called in at Tintagel Castle I came across Michael filming a documentary about King Arthur. I liked his JAM performance.

Don't you EVER swear at me! >:) devil

In all seriousness, I'd like Andy Hamilton to appear on JAM. He's a comedian and writer with a very gentle tone of voice, but with a very satirical mind. He's appeared on Have I Got News For You (many times alongside Paul Merton), I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue and The News Quiz.

5) Jo Brand
6) Dara O'Briain
