New member here from Seattle USA- been a JAM addict for about 10 yrs
now-local station had the BBC World Service overnight for a while ( now
they just have the BBC news for a couple of hrs) Used to get up at 3am
to record it- thank goodness for the internet Listen Again feature!!(
and a good friend that can record off the internet and burn me a cd)
While I enjoy all the panelists I am a long time Paul Merton fan so he
is my favorite.
I have purchased the casssete/cds until last yr when i bought
a "blackmarket" mp3 off ebay with 300 shows so I should have most of
them. And i have been on the Transcripts list for a couple yrs.
I have been an addicted Anglophile for over 35 yrs and I really love
British comedy-I started with tv's Dr in the House/Dad's Army and
I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again/The Goon show-- for some reason the
the seattle area has broadcast many British Comedies even before Monty
Python hit.( ah the days when my friends and I would twist those rabbit
ears to get in a barely watchable tv station from Vancouver BC to see
shows like Man About the House and On the Buses)
