I have been a huge fan of ISIHAC for many years. I remember when Willie Rushton died and it quite upset me. But when Humph died I thought it would be the end of the show. It really upset me as I felt like it was the end of an era.

When the show returned with different chairman I was very sceptical. However, it was good to hear Clue again. I must say that I feel that having a permanent chairman works better as I feel that they can develop there own personality (and there own set of running jokes).

I do not feel that I am being disloyal to the memory of Humph when I say that Jack Dee is doing a good job filling some very large shoes. I am so glad that ISIHAC did not finish. It feels more like it is on another chapter.

I feel very uncomfortable talking directly about the next JAM chairman, but I just thought that I would share my feelings about the passing of the chairman of ISIHAC. For what it is worth.

Love, David

You're not being disloyal at all David;. I did feel that Jack needed a couple of series to add his own idiosyncracities to the Clue formula - which he has done admirably *pheep* and I was speaking as the whistle went...

Yeah, as I've previously mentioned I love it when he does a urinary extraction of Nicholas Parsons in Just A Minim.

By the way, to all the Clue fans, Jack and the teams will be back on Monday 14th November with the first of two shows from Guildford's new G-Live venue, where Jeremy Hardy will be joining Jack, Barry, Graeme, Tim and Colin Sell.

Samantha not there?

Incidentally I see Sarah Sharpe’s longish run at the whistle has come to an end as she is taking maternity leave. I know the BBC is looking to cut back on costs so wouldn’t it make sense for Samantha to take on that role as well. I am sure she could satisfy Nicholas with her blowing...

cheers, Dean

Don't worry Dean. Samantha will be there to keep the teams' points up on end, while sitting on Jack's right hand... ;) winking
