Fellow JAM fans,
I've tried many times to get tickets via the BBC
ticket website (I receive their email alerts).
I've submitted my details
for JAM tickets and been told my request will be part of a lottery draw. I never
hear anything afterwards.
Is there a better way to get hold of tickets
for JAM?
Dean - do you have a more direct way of getting your tickets.
Contacts within the Beeb for example?

This is all allowable as there is no requirements to prove you are the named person on the ticket, and there is no requirement to give the name of the second person. Thus one could apply for tickets and pass them on if not needed. I was successful in getting two tickets on my first go, though I only needed one, and no one in the group wanted it, and another claimed it was tantamount to fraud, which it clearly was not, but which put a dampener on the idea. I think the thread was called Group Solidarity. If you want to bear the sniping from the sidelines we could try that again.

Fellow JAM fans,
Hey Dean - thanks for your interesting insight into
this question! :)
Your silence is intriguing!

Every time I have seen a recording (only three times) it has been as a guest of the producer or the chairman. There are just a few tickets available in this way, but obviously it isn't something that will be available to you, and I realise â" it sounds like I am big-noting...

It confirms my suspicions that there is something not overly fair regarding ticket allocation, particularly with the reserved seats.
