is an important day – the first TV recording of JAM in 12 years will be
filmed!
Good luck to Nicholas, Paul, and whichever others are appearing.
If you’re lucky enough to be going, I hope you’ll send us a message with
the cast and so on.

Were we able to apply for tickets? Or was it kept secret?

Hi Steven
The tickets were on the BBC Tickets website -
http://www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours/shows/tickets/tv
In fact the it's still listed there, just fully booked.
If you have signed up for the BBC Tickets emails, and especially if you said you were interested in London recordings, then it shouldn't have been a secret to you.
Cheers

Well thats bloody annoying, I get the emails about JAM radio recordings, but heard nothing about this. All I can say is ARSE to the useless BBC Ticket Unit....

Hi Steven,
Perhaps you're signed up to some mailing lists and not others. For example there's a JaM mailing list (see
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/features/just-a-minute/newsletter/) and there are also BBC Tickets mailing lists which are separate and different. If you think about it, it really has to be that way so the BBC don't get accused of spamming people.
FWIW I didn't get notification about the JaM TV recordings either. But then again I've set my mailing subscription up so that it doesn't bore me with invitations to recordings in London (such as the JaM TV ones) that I can't go to. Instead it sends me invitations to events at Salford, Blackburn, Lytham, Liverpool, etc. I don't think it's useless at all - I've been to some excellent BBC recordings, including several radio pilots and a TV lecture by Brian Cox (the physicist, not the actor).
Perhaps you just aren't subscribed to the right things?
Cheers
