Josie Lawrence replied to a tweet from me to say she would be appearing - I think on the Tuesday recording as she is down to do the Comedy Store on Sunday night.

I think someone said Ross Noble was doing some shows too.

Of the others I would think Jenny Eclair would be more likely than Sheila Hancock. I'd expect Marcus Brigstocke to get a look-in too. I imagine they'd love to have Graham Norton and Stephen Fry do two more shows each too.

The interesting thing about the teams so far is that it's pretty much all experienced players. Russell Tovey is the one complete newbie, and as you say Miles Jupp has done just two shows. This is a very good sign.

If JAM can't succeed on TV with panels of this calibre, we can say for certain it will never work on TV.

They seem to be doing well in getting all the regulars and long-standing players involved. Tim Rice, Sheila, Kit, Jenny and Ross seem to be the remaining 'biggies' left who have yet to appear, as well as perhaps Josie and Marcus as more recent players with fairly regular appearances. Two recordings left means 4 programmes and if Paul is going to be in all of them (which seems likely) that leaves 12 'spots' to be filled. I think Kit, Sheila and Jenny would be the most hard-done-by if they didn't appear and it would be a shame to leave Josie out given how quickly she is becoming a strong regular. I dearly hope Sheila appears - she's always fun, clearly loves the game and is the longest-standing panellist since Clement died. Ross's Twitter suggests he is filming in Ireland so possibly he won't appear. I'm also guessing each recording is going to involve a swap of at least one player between shows and there's a tendency to have a newbie (or relative newbie in Miles Jupp's case) involved in one. I'd like to think maybe Clive Anderson will get a shot given his appearance in the BBC Radio 4 Extra ads - he's usually good value on panel shows and would be a strong contributor I'm sure.
And speaking of the Radio 4 Extra Adverts, the set of those (the Radio Theatre in Broadcasting house...?) bears some similarities to the tv set you showed us Dean!
