A nice, clean copy, thanks to the ABC.

Thanks for the upgrade, making it available and all that.

Was wondering tho if these are edited. For example this clean episode
is 20 seconds shorter than the previous best so where does the time go?

Im not complaining just wondering.

These earlier eps seem to have a lot of play-out music at the end - to pad the time out, I figure - and I tend to leave that music in, up until the announcer talks over the top.  I guess the play-out could have gone longer and the announcer just cuts in when he/she feels like it...

over the years these shows have been edited... there are a lot of shows from the mid 70s that are roughly 25 minutes in length – they’ve been edited to run on commercial radio.

Oh yikes - I was never aware of that. Then the new recordings should have been spliced with the older!
I've replaced my old files with the new along the way, so I don't have the missing minutes any more...

When I replace copies of shows, I always keep the original, just in case. I put them in a folder called "replaced".

I have many terabytes of online storage on my NAS, so storage space is not an issue.

Congratulations! You have been selected to tell me exactly which episodes need to be spliced.

I will happily accept Kroner and gold-plated hedgehogs.
