When I replace copies of shows, I always keep the
original, just in case. I put them in a folder called
"replaced".
I have many terabytes of online storage on my NAS, so
storage space is not an issue.

Oh yikes - I was never aware of that. Then the
new recordings should have been spliced with the
older!
I've replaced my old files with the new along the
way, so I don't have the missing minutes any
more...

is 20 seconds shorter than the
previous best so where does the time
go?
