Don't know if anyone caught this Christmas special, but having just listened to it now, I can recommend to anyone who adores our Radio 4 favourites.

The premise is that the Radio 4 pips have disappeared and so Sandi Toksvig and Andy Hamilton go off in search of them. Along the way they encounter many R4 favourites who send themselves up fantastically - my personal highlights include Jeremy Hardy - the minstrel who must complete his whole song as a clue to the pips' whereabouts - and Nicholas Parsons as the Inquisitor, trapping the two heroes and forcing them into an eternal game of Just A Minute.
