Hi all. As some of you might remember, ABC radio has been broadcasting "I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue" episodes, most of which have been compilations of the 2 episodes recorded at a given venue. I have been recording these with the ambition of rebuilding imperfect recordings using donor material from the compilations.

At last I have performed surgery on my first patient, using Adobe Audition 3.

The patient was ISIHAC-2000-05-22=Woking1=Insects_Ball.mp3, which was only 6MB and rather muddy/muffled.

After careful diagnostics, listing each segment of the two Woking episodes, I determined that while the first 3 minutes 38 seconds were a mixture of both Woking eps, from the first game onwards, all was from Woking episode 1.

After a quick amputation and transplant, the relatively poor original episode had (after 3:38) a new, healthy body with far better sound quality.

I'll look into rebuilding other ISIHAC eps so long as my holidays and beer supply hold out...
