Hi Mark - I noticed that the the first three minutes or so that you spliced in from your "original" are in mono. In case it is of interest I've uploaded here http://www.sendspace.com/file/v1ara5 for you a perfectly reasonable quality stereo encode of what I believe to be the original UK broadcast of 2000-05-22. I'm not saying the quality is as good as ABC, but you might like to do a resplice of the intro so as to have a fully stereo rebuild.
